Binance Türkiye is announcing new projects in the coming days that will contribute to the development of women and increase financial literacy, which will be exclusively for women, according to Harika Eldoğan, Marketing Director of Binance Türkiye, who noted that there are more and more women working in the blockchain industry.
Expressing her condolences to all the families affected by the catastrophic earthquakes in southeastern Türkiye, Eldoğan stated that the company is striving to swiftly deliver the contribution worth about 94 million lira ($5 million) directly to the users’ accounts, all from Binance, and that they are working as both a global organization and as a team in Türkiye to aid those impacted by the earthquake.
In addition, Eldoğan stated that the company has started a fundraising campaign that collects donations from users worldwide through their charity branch Binance Charity.
“Donations continue to reach those in need in all regions affected by the earthquake. We have seen that the Blockchain ecosystem in which we are located is also a quick solution in solidarity situations, both within the scope of Binance and with the earthquake relief efforts of other entities within the ecosystem,” she said.
Eldoğan said one of Binance Türkiye’s main philosophies is to empower women in the business environment, especially in developing countries.
“Therefore, we believe that we strengthen every area we are in and make a significant contribution to all areas. I would like to point out that Binance has a very high female employee rate compared to other global-scale companies. I am proud to work in a new area such as Web3 and B, especially in Türkiye,” she concluded.
